There’s a funny thing that happens when you stop and notice.
It’s wild. You can go on and on with your days, doing thing after thing and call it living. But in the pause, you realize: life is living you.
I remember seeing it pop up, that ad on Instagram. “MindBody Therapy program — bring balance to your inner landscapes.”
It was the second time this had happened; one minute I’m aimlessly scrolling and the next my stomach jumped up to my chest.
“I need to do this.”
But in hindsight, life needed me to do this.
It was one of those ‘my whole life changed in a moment’ moments.
I had been well into my healing journey at that point and several years into dealing with chronic pain. I was at my wits end in many ways, when I saw the ad. I somehow knew it was a message from life addressed to my body.
“Your healing is not all mind, it’s body too.”
It was the exact medicine I needed, and it’s turned out to be the exact medicine I’m meant to offer others too.
The first time it happened, an ad popped up for a mini-course called “Living Astrology.”
I had already been pretty into astrology at that point, astounded that I was more than just the spreadsheet-lovin’, bossy-pantsin’ Virgo the horoscopes loved to paint me as (my Gemini rising made a whole lot of sense to me). The ad was an invitation to explore the roots of Astrology from the perspective of nature — my ears perked up like a hungry, curious dog.
Once again whispering:
“I need to do this.”
And it’s no surprise to you or I by now, life needed me to do it more.
In those moments everything changed because it seemed like life, or God, or Spirit, or whatever you want to call it—I recently learned that Emily Dickensen was known for calling this force many things, one among them ‘Vagabond’, and I just love that—was alive in the algorithm.
But then again, maybe it always is?
How many times have you been scrolling about the internet only to receive the exact message you needed when you needed it?
How many instances have you been avoiding something or repeating a pattern and a teaching arises that forces you to, finally, face it?
When have you stumbled on the very thing that changed the course of your living?
Was it a workshop?
A piece of writing?
A school program?
A song?
Post-worldwide shut down, I’ve had a deep yearning to weave threads with more people. I’m sure I’m not the only one. We all desperately need more community!
Since living with that intention, magic is afoot. I’ve been serendipitously meeting people that inspire me, and by consequence, really see me. It’s magnificent. They too appear in my life as though divinity had skin and a pulsing heartbeat (because it does, that’s you!).
In two different instances—one a coffee meet-up with a new acquaintance and the other an incredible client of mine—I very casually said something along the lines of “life gave this to you for a reason” and in both instances they stopped me, and saw me, and reflected back to me:
“That’s such a beautiful perspective. That’s something I used to know, but seem to have forgotten. Thank you for the reminder, it’s just what I needed.”
Life is living you.
If you’ve forgotten, it’s time to remember again.
The forces of divine aliveness are constantly and continuously dancing through you.
Every person that enters your life, every experience you go through, every realization that occurs, every challenge you face, every goal that emerges—this is life guiding you forward.
To me, there’s such peace in that.
When we get stuck thinking we’re the ones doing all the living, we’re stuck carrying a lot of pressure on our shoulders. I think that’s why I’ve integrated this knowing so deep in my being and doing, because I’d much rather live with life like a creative collaborator than feeling isolated in the dark with no wonder where to go.
It’s all in the noticing.
Where is life leading you?
What does life want for you?
How does life communicate with you?
What is life trying to tell you?
Take a sacred pause, ask your questions, and listen.
Feel what emerges in your body.
Try it on with your soul.
Let life move you.
And allow for surprise and delight.
It’s magic made real. Now we’re really living.

I hope this message finds exactly who it needs to—the algorithm of life’s magic in action through me, hehe.
Wishing you all a lovely last few days of Taurus season!
Love,
Bry
P.S. I’ve been living a lovely, slow country life while dogsitting for a friend in her fabulous country home. I’ve not felt this grounded, myself, and clear in ages. So of course, being a triple mutable Astro girlie, I’ve redone my website (yes, again!) to reflect a deeper layer of my work and my being. And it feels so right. Check it out here.
My lovely Bryyy!!!! Warm hugs from India!!
